ONE CONNECTED PROCESS

Advanced technology matters only when guided by clinical judgment. At Smile Boutique in Austin, Harvard-trained prosthodontist Dr. Afsaneh Rad directs each phase from initial design through final fabrication. Keeping clinical and laboratory decisions connected ensures every detail serves your treatment plan.

THE DIFFERENCE
IS IN THE DETAILS.

DIRECT OVERSIGHT

Every contour, contact, material, and functional decision can influence how a restoration looks, feels, and performs.
With the laboratory inside the practice, Dr. Rad can review the design, examine the restoration alongside the patient, and make refinements while the complete clinical picture is still present. This continuity keeps the clinical and laboratory decisions connected throughout treatment.

ESTHETICS & FUNCTION

A natural-looking restoration must also support a comfortable, stable bite. We design tooth position, facial harmony, speech, and function as one complete system.

THE RIGHT MATERIAL

No single material is right for every restoration. Dr. Rad selects materials based on function, available space, esthetic goals, implant design, and the demands of your specific treatment.

BUILT FOR COMPLEX CARE

LEADING TECHNOLOGY

Our laboratory connects scanning, photogrammetry, design, printing, milling, and ceramic refinement in one coordinated process. Technology does not replace clinical judgment. It allows Dr. Rad to carry that judgment through every stage.

3SHAPE TRIOS® INTRAORAL SCANNER

TRIOS captures a detailed digital impression of your teeth and surrounding structures. That information becomes the starting point for treatment planning, restoration design, and fabrication within our connected clinical and laboratory workflow.

IMETRIC iCAM4D PHOTOGRAMMETRY

Cam4D records the three-dimensional positions of multiple dental implants for full-arch restorations. Accurate transfer of these implant relationships is essential to designing a restoration that seats precisely and achieves a passive fit.

ZIRKONZAHN S900 ARTI SCANNER

The S900 converts physical models and laboratory records into precise digital information. This allows Dr. Rad to integrate existing records into the design process and maintain continuity between the clinical plan and restoration fabrication.

SPRINTRAY 3D pRINTER

SprintRay produces precise models, guides, appliances, prototypes, and provisional restorations. In-house printing allows us to move efficiently from digital design to a physical restoration that can be evaluated and refined during treatment.

ZIRKONZAHN M2 DUAL DOUBLE TELESKOPER MILLING UNIT

Our Zirkonzahn milling system fabricates restorations and full-arch prostheses from a wide range of dental materials within the practice. This gives Dr. Rad direct visibility into production, fit verification, and refinement.

ZIRKONOFEN TURBO SINTERING FURNACE

After zirconia is milled, the Zirkonofen Turbo completes the controlled sintering process that gives the restoration its final density, strength, and dimensions. Its preset programs allow different Zirkonzahn zirconia materials to be processed efficiently within our laboratory.

ARTISTRY IN THE DETAILS

Digital design is only the beginning of a natural result. In our ceramic room, restorations are refined with close attention to shade, texture, and natural detail.
Dr. Rad directs these decisions and collaborates with master ceramists when a case calls for additional artistry.
